Tobacco Dock
Tobacco Dock is a 7,000-capacity venue in East London, based in a Grade 1
listed landmark building, boasting a rich history, impressive tech infrastructure
and cutting-edge facilities.
With 57 spaces, from glass-fronted breakouts, barrel-ceilinged brick vaults
and airy, timber-beamed spaces, the venue can offer a variety of layouts both
indoor and outdoor. Tobacco Dock hosts 250+ events a year for many of the
world’s leading brands, varying from offsites for a dozen to EMEA conferences
for 2,500 and large-scale consumer events attracting 8,000 attendees.
Dry hire provides planners with the opportunity to create original events, while
full event management and venue hire packages throughout the venue are
ideal for time-strapped clients. The in-house catering team, Tobacco Dock
Food, provides versatile menus with a focus on seasonal, locally sourced
produce, and a new production kitchen means they can easily cater for 4,000
at a time.
Tobacco Dock has achieved a Green Mark as recognition of its commitment
to helping clients run events in a sustainable way, while a partnership with
One Feeds Two sees a meal donated to a child living in poverty for every
guest fed, and unused food is redistributed among the community through a
partnership with OLIO.
Clients over the past year include Xero, PwC, Deloitte and All Saints and
repeat business has increased 35%, while new client wins include Waitrose,
Gainsight and AI Summit.
One judge said: “As custodians to an historic building, it certainly seems like
they are doing an exceptional job. I loved reading about their collaborative
approach with their clients and the One Feeds Two and OLIO partnerships.”
