50th Anniversary Celebration
CWT M&E has worked with this Fortune 500 insurance company in Spain,
Brazil and the US for a variety of events since 2018 and was chosen to deliver
a 50th anniversary event for the Iberian region.
The company wanted to create an incentive that completely focused on the
destination of New York City to inspire and motivate with amazing productions
for more than 2,300 attendees.
The major challenge for this event was managing it through the COVID-19
pandemic – the event was postponed from 2020 to 2022, and CWT M&E
worked with suppliers to keep rates and terms and conditions in place from
the initial negotiations.
Despite the large number of attendees, the insurance company wanted the
trip to feel exclusive and personalised to each winner. Attendees were split
into three different sub-groups for activities, and for the city tours, each subgroup was broken into three different routes with each route including about
250 attendees.
Highlights included dinner cruises on the Hudson River and city tours ending
with lunch at the famed Carmines, dinner on the top of One World Trade Center
(102nd Floor) and a matinee performance of one of Broadway’s newest and
most popular musicals, MJ, with a dinner for Diamond Club winners.
There was also a Gala Awards Ceremony designed to be an homage to a
Night of Golden Broadway and a spectacular final night celebration at Intrepid
Sea, Air and Space Museum, complete with flash mob dancers and much
more.

for such a large group.
