One Genmab Company Event 2022: Stronger Together
Judges praised Ashfield Event Experiences’ (AAE) entry for great creativity,
interactivity and fantastic feedback from clients and attendees. The
One Genmab Company Event 2022: Stronger Together was a company
communications event, created for the entire global workforce, taking place
on the back of the COVID pandemic in Madrid in June 2022.
Since 2019, Genmab had doubled in size, so this event was critical for
connecting teams in person and rolling out the company’s 2030 vision.
AEE delivered all event services, working seamlessly with 100+ Genmab
stakeholders, bringing together 80 speakers, 37 external vendors and 125+
technical and freelance crew.
Over three days, the agency created an engaging event where togetherness
and networking were prioritised over seminars and talks, with 68 bespoke
pieces of video and animation delivering engaging messages across the
agenda.
Attendees were kept on their feet and moving, never sitting for longer than an
hour, and the entire organisation was engaged to create a showcase of talent,
projects and visions using multiple learning tools. Sight, smell, touch, sound,
and taste were all used to create unique experiences – informing, educating,
and strengthening the One Team culture.
The event saw 1169 attendees from 57 nations across 26 departments spend
50 hours together. Engagement was extremely high and 98% left confident in
the company’s future direction, 96% were more passionate about working for
Genmab, and 96% understood the 2030 vision.
As Genmab believes in leaving a positive impact, 7,500+ care packages of
basic necessities for refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine were created on-site
in Madrid and delivered to the border of Ukraine directly from the event
