With corporate companies under pressure to meet
ambitious carbon reduction targets, ESG (Environmental,
Social, Governance) credentials, reporting and mitigation
capabilities are becoming critical elements of the eventbuying decision process.
Brands are increasingly looking to work with agencies and
third-party suppliers with strong sustainability credentials.
That’s why event:decision and micebook teamed up
to bring you the Most Sustainable Agencies UK 202425 list, which recognises the top 30 most sustainable
event agencies in the UK market, based both on their
sustainable internal business practices and their ability to
deliver sustainable outcomes for client events.
When event:decision first mentioned the idea, I made it
my mission to get micebook involved, and with Matt and
his team’s expertise in the field of sustainability, I knew
they would be the perfect partner.
Having worked on numerous top agencies lists over
my many years as an event industry journalist, mostly
focused on financial performance, this feels more
meaningful and should prove invaluable for corporates
looking for sustainable event agencies to partner with.
The list features 30 agencies this year (in all honesty we
had hoped it would be 50), but we look forward to growing
it in future years and making it an established annual
benchmarking initiative that recognises and celebrates
the event agencies leading the way on sustainability.
